It was a good place to stay. Very convenient to shopping, the Pier and eating places. The only inconvenience was with the cleaning of our room. We stayed there for 3 days and never had our room cleaned. We piled the trash in the corner. Everything else was great. Very nice and friendly staff.

We had an ocean view room and saw some amazing sunrises every morning from our balcony. The hotel is pet friendly and very welcoming. Its not fancy just perfectly laid back for island life. The location was nice for watching the action on the beach near the pier. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

Staff members were very friendly, however it was not a place i felt comfortable staying with my family. There were fights in the parking lot, drunk people everywhere surrounding the hotel, and the entire floor we stayed on smelled of marijuana and cigarette smoke. Maybe it was just the night we stayed. Be careful

They offer sunrise yoga on the beach both Saturday and Sunday mornings. It is amazing!!! But elevator was out throughout the stay.

The first thing I didn't like was that I had to pay an 80 dollar resort fee which was supposed to include towels, coffee, and other things like internet access. The reason I was unhappy with this is that even though the room I reserved was listed as for five people, only four coffee pods were provided, and they were never restocked. Towels were provided as well, however they were only enough for one beach day and we were never sent clean towels after. Other than that the view was amazing and the proximity to the beach is unbeatable. The hotel room had excellent AC and was pretty clean. The beds were also comfortable and clean. I would stay again.

Thank you for sharing your recent experience at Hotel Tybee. I appreciate your candid feedback as it helps us improve our services. I apologize for the inconvenience you faced regarding the hotel's nightly "Parking/Amenity Fee". The fee includes parking for one vehicle, access to our bikes, beach chairs, beach towels and beach yoga every Saturday and Sunday. Our goal is to ensure that the amenities included in this fee enhance your stay, and I regret that this was not your experience. I understand your frustration with the limited coffee pods and the issue with towel restocking. We aim to provide ample supplies for all our guests, and it’s clear we fell short during your stay. Your comments have been shared with our housekeeping team to prevent such oversights in the future. I’m delighted to hear that you enjoyed the stunning view, our convenient beach access, and the comfortable, clean room with excellent AC. Your willingness to stay with us again despite the challenges means a lot, and we look forward to providing you with an even better experience next time. Until next time...safe travels.

The first room we were given was so dirty. I used one Lysol wipe to wipe the bathroom vanity, shower edges and the tile floor infront the of the toilet and the wipe was solid brown. There was hair around the toilet, in the shower and in every corner of the bathroom and bedroom. All of the fixtures were rusted because the AC wasn’t working correctly. The entire room was wet with condensation. They gave us another room and it was dirty as well. Followed by the entire floor of the hotel smelling like sewage. We were told someone threw fresh bait in a trash can and the cleaning crew drug the bag through the halls. However, the smell lingered for hours. We requested our money back and left the hotel.
