I used Expedia to book the advertised price. Sometime later I was contacted by Tongariro River Retreat to say that the advertised price was a mistake and was not available.
I cancelled by booking

It was adequate but everything was old and tired. The doors to the bathroom and my dorm room would not stay closed unless it was locked.

thanks for your comments, the place is cleaned and tidied every day, it seems some patrons cannot leave the place tidy or throw rubbish in the bin
