A well priced comfortable Motel

Pros: Comfy Bed and Motel Lay out.
Cons: Can't think of anything negative to say.
At first we were worried being so close to main road, but the bed was so comfy we slept through any traffic noise. Very well equipped clean unit. Liked the carport parking for car and how the motel was set out, giving plenty of privacy to each guest unit. Would stay here again.

Warm and Cosy

Pros: Big units and very comfy. Would be real cozy in the winter.
Cons: It was a little outdated but we really liked that. Like a traditional kiwi batch.
Location: Great for visiting the snow or trout fishing.
We stayed here during the Christmas break, we found it very inviting, large unit and a lot of room for the kids to play. It really is set up for people who are wanting to fish, however, we really enjoyed our stay. Comfy beds and it was set up like a home away from home. Found a very yummy fish n chip and Chinese takeaway shop close by. Very reasonable and food was top notch.

My 1st choice in Turangi

Pros: Close to all the town pools, comfortable apartment-like rooms that can accommodate a group or singles, sky sports for the rugby and a smoker.
For anglers this is the best. The owners truly care about their guests, the river and the fishing going out of their way to make my stay in Turangi as easy as possible (even on late arrivals and early returns). I will definitely be returning and hope there is vacancy when I do. This is a great base to use to fish and explore the area.
