We loved staying at the Trailhead by Weekender. Easy getting into the room, wonderful bed, clean and quiet. I loved that there were no spiders or bugs in the room! The only thing I would suggest is to have a lighter blanket available rather than just the heavy comforter - it took us until the second night to figure out the A/C and Heat in the room and the first night I was very warm. I loved the decor and the black ceiling! We'll stay again! Diane Hecht

I will start with the good: the bed was clean and very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and the showerhead was great! However, if you have paid someone to clean that room, you need to get your money back. When we entered the room, someone had spilled a sticky liquid on one of the bedside tables, which had not been cleaned up. My guess, from the Bud Light beer bottle caps on the floor– which I stepped on – is that it was beer. The rug had obviously not been vacuumed or someone would have seen the bottle caps. There was a yellow ring around the inside of the toilet, which let us know that had not been cleaned either. The table had dried brown spots of what looked like some kind of cola . There were cobwebs in the corners containing caught dead bugs. If someone was supposed to have clean that room, they badly missed the Mark. My husband had to get soap and a washcloth and wash down the nightstand and table, because we could not set anything on them . It was really sad that what could have been a nice stay so obviously had not been prepared since the last guest. the exception to that was that the bed was made with clean linen.

Such a nice place! Wish I could have stayed longer. Rooms are so comfy and modern. Staff are so helpful and kind. Next time I am around I will surely find my way back here!

I've always liked Shaheen's, now Trailhead, but the current checkin arrangements were poor: I made reservations thru Expedia, who told me the remote checkin room number and code info would be provided 24 hrs before checkin--when it wasn't, I called the Trailhead phone number but received message that no voice mailbox was set up. I then sent email to Trailhead, who responded that I should have received email code from Expedia; that didn't arrive until about 2 hrs before checkin. It was frustrating to not be able to get the checkin info until shortly before arrival.

What a beautiful place to stay. My best sleep ever at any hotel. Towels, sheets and toiletries are top notch. The easiest check in in late hours.

Was not happy with the barking dog in the room next door, when we got out of bed or walked in our room their dog would bark. Also having the cleaning staff knock on our door before the posted check out time. The room was very clean & comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
