I loved it!
Posted 29 Feb 2020 on HotelsThe room was amazing! I love the host and the room but to be honest I will stay in the hotel zone as taxis are super expensive and the best things to do are the ruins (in either location you will have to bike or take a taxi) and walk down the hotel zone.
If you choose to stay in the town there is not a better place than this hotel. It is conveniently located between the bus stops and the environment is great!

Nice, clean and simple. Friendly staff. Walking distance to main strip of restaurants/shops. Not a 5 star but good enough for a short trip stay.

This hotel was unique. You really felt that you were in Mexico. Hoare and Marieka were fabulous hosts. Very helpful when needed. Liked the the fact that this hotel was off the beaten track. The surrounding area is a work in progress but nevertheless quite safe. Coffee should be provided in am as there are no coffee machines in the room.

The room we booked was fantastic.
the hot tub is in the middle of the room and it looks like in a movie.
A/C and hot water run all day and the hotel is easy to access.
the only problem for us was the noise outside the hotel. Works and funfairs were a deadly combo but the staff was apologetic and I am sure that it is just temporary.
it would have been perfect without those inconvenients
