When we pull d around to our room we were “welcomed” by a group of men out on the balcony. Very uncomfortable unloading the vehicle and getting my 3 young daughters into our room. As we were trying to sleep we were awoken several times my screaming and several loud booms. We’ve stayed at several La Quinta locations and it’s always been my preferred place to stay but this one wasnt a good experience. The nightstand looked like it wasn’t wiped down along with the self on the bathroom. Also, the remote in our room didn’t work well. Not sure if we will stay at the one we were planning on on our way back. Check in and check out staff was great though.

Plugin by the sink did not work so my hearing aids didn’t charge. I didn’t realize it until we left and down the road they stopped working.

Overall the stay was good. Super hot day and Ice machine did not work. They will charge you $100 additional refundable deposits without telling. They do have a sign but don’t tell you verbally, and whined asked if the extra 100 was the deposit the answer was, “well that’s common knowledge” yes, it is coming knowledge but all hotels that I have stay at explain what you are being charged. Also they automatically charge the card on file without asking if that was the payment method we wanted to use and without confirming the amount that was being charged. I did get my deposit back but we wanted to use a different card but didn’t have a chance.

It was a pretty good stay I stayed for 3 nights and saw a lot of bad reviews before the stay I mean you pay for what you get but all in all it was a nice comfortable place people just expect a lot. Staff was friendly also. Close to a lot of good places like park place mall and zoo.
