Perfect Swiss village
Posted 30 Sep 2019 on HotelsWonderful in all areas, except the shuttle service, From the train station or bus stop needs to be improved. The front desk & restaurant staff was extremely friendly and helpful, great food. The rooms were clean and had t two wonderful massages. The little village was perfect and picturesque. I would highly recommend, but clarify where the shuttle service stands !

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful remote village.
Posted 17 Aug 2019 on HotelsA lovely hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms a very nice and comfortable. Driving up to the hotel goes through a very nice little rustic Swiss village. Up on the mountain top. Food in the restaurant was really really nice too.

Beautiful mountain retreat
Posted 21 Jan 2019 on HotelsLovely hotel with great facilities in a stunning ski in/ski out location. Rooms comfortable and cosy with innovative use of space. Only suggestions would be implementing a variety in menus between meal times and restaurants (although quality of food is fantastic), and also working on the speed of service. Overall a great stay and would definitely return.

Although it seems this property is accustomed to welcoming families and couples, I traveled there solo and had a wonderful experience. The view was amazing, and so was the property. The room although only having a small window has a very cozy design and the wood scent added to the relaxing ambience. The food is really good and so was the service from the young servers. Something to know is that although I was looking forward to the spa, I didn’t understand that it was full nudity until checking in. This would have been good information to include in the Expedia description. Although it is part of the local culture, it is not something I would feel relaxed to join so I had to give the entire Jacuzzi and sauna a miss which I was really looking forward to. Also another thing that is very important to know is that from the bus drop off to the hotel although a short distance is extremely steep and treacherous if you have luggage. Even though I emailed ahead of time and asked if it was a steep climb they said it was only a short walk but never mentioned that it would be difficult. Anyways good to know. They said if I needed a ride when I got there to call, but I did not have a phone. I feel like they should have known better after my question and arrange for pick up as I had given them the time.

Alpine gem
Posted 29 May 2018 on HotelsAmazing views in comfortable room in the Alps. Superb restaurant with gourmet local cuisine. Did not try the spa but it was tempting. Felt like I was in "Heid.i" 20 minute cab ride from Chur train after the Bernina Express. Call hotel to arrange cab since it is much cheaper.

Excellent place to stay!!
Posted 8 Jul 2017It was about 8:30PM when we went there and the hotel staff did make sure we still had dinner even it's late for them...
Sasha was very helpful to get us a early check out the next day and call a cab to the car rental place .. since we had to go drop our cars and catch a train next morning...
Staff was very nice and helpful.. breathtaking views we wish we did stay at least a full day!!
Definitely a must see place if you in Chur Switzerland
