We had a good time
Posted 27 Feb 2024 on HotelsRoom was nice and comfortable, but we did have a few issues with toilet not flushing. Also the stove was complicated and we didn't know how to work it. We paid extra $30 to reserve the roof top tub, and that was awesome. They also have indoor tubs that are free to use with your stay. Those seemed nice and clean. Also nice to be across the street from grocery store and short walk to the brewery.

The water is perfect! I really appreciated the individual tubs.

Take time for an experience
Posted 13 Dec 2023 on HotelsI didn't want the corporate motel. I wanted something old and unique in the historic part of town that didn't look like a fast food restaurant. When I arrived, the place looked a little too "unique". I was treated with kindness and friendliness and given a quick tour of the quirky details that make this hotel a special place. I'll be back. It's not for everyone, but neither is fast food. Unique places are fewer and further between now. You might need help to get the TV working at first, but when the friendly staff will help you, little things like that don't matter.
The room was quite nice and larger than I expected. It was clean and comfortable. It was old and charming with clever decor. I love that.
The main building dates from the 1940s and has soaking tubs with the hot spring water piped directly in. It's not what you will find in many places. Seek out the unusual.
