Friendly convenient visit.
Posted 25 Apr 2019 on HotelsOne night stay. We loved this place because of how friendly they were. . It is not expensive, nor should it be. We had a basic room with two beds and a bath. A pleasant view out the window. The room was a second floor walk up but staff kindly helped with luggage. Staff was exceptional. The restaurant downstairs was well attended by locals at breakfast mid day and dinner. They were all very friendly and we really enjoyed the non-touristy family feel The food was exceptional with exceptionally friendly service. It was a six minute walk to Plaza Mayor. Most tourists probably stay there or close by but we liked the neighborhood feel of where we stayed. Although we ate downstairs there were other restaurants nearby as well. We were there the night of a Semana Santa parade. Parking would have been difficult then, though maybe not at other times. So we paid 10 Euros for a very convenient locked garage about five doors away from the hotel.

Uncomfortable beds, paper thin walls led to two very poor nights sleep. Could hear everyone in the hotel talking or walking around. It was however, in a good location to explore the old city.

Really helpful staff in a small hotel

Pros: The simply decorated roomhad a balcony that overlooked the street but it was quiet and very relaxing there.
The staff could not have been more kind.
Cons: Nothing - it was just right for us.
Location: I walked to the Post Office about 5mins and there was a good mix of shops including an Artisans coop selling interesting things from the local region.
The young woman who met us was very kind when I discovered there was no plug in the sink or the bath,,, she soon provided me with two new plugs after liaising with the boss !
In the morning she prepared a breakfast for us in the downstairs bar area which was very kind too.
The hotel was only a short walk from the amazing square and old town where we ate a reasonably priced evening meal... the town is simply a smaller version of Caceres, which we also loved.

Great Location, good value
Posted 19 Aug 2016 on HotelsGreat location. Friendly staff. Easy parking on street although we saw a sign for private guest parking. Hotel fairly basic but clean and tidy. Good wifi. Short stroll to old medieval city. Cafe, bar and resturant on site. Great value would definately stay again.
