WE had to make an emergency stay at the last moment. Pleasantly surprised at how beautiful Tropis is. The grounds were beautful. The rooms were very nce and the Staff was extremely courteous. Speaking English to guide us through an already frustrating day. The price per night may be a bit on the high-end, but absolutely worth every penny!

PROPERTY IS NOT 5 MINUTE WALK BUT 20 MINUTES WITH A LOT OF STRPS. MISLEADING IN AD.

Dear Carmine, thanks for your feedback. Please note that the distance "5 minute walk" in our descriptions is referred to the city centre of Tropea and there aren't stairs. The distance to the beach instead is infact 20 minute walk with stairs, this is correct. Our best regards.

Please stay away from this fake 4 stars hotel.
I’ve been around the world in many hotels and this is not a 4 star hotel.. only the room price is comparable to a 4 star hotel.
To begin with it no one helped me to get to my room or understand where the amenities were or how the hotel works, but this was the last of the problems.
Me and my wife stayed there luckily only one night, I say only because there is no space for 2 luggages in the room and we would have not been able to spend more time here.
The 2 single mattresses pushed together are the hardest mattresses I’ve ever slept on and we were even feeling the springs in out back. No extra pillows are provided in case you want to read a book or watch the tv.
To use towels outside the room in case you need one for the pool you will need to pay a rental fee of 3.50 euro.. again this is a 4 star hotel.
The minibar is empty and you need to call concierge to have it filled up.. never seen this to a 4 star hotel.
I’m a small person 5’7” tall and 150lb and I could not fit in the shower.. I’m not exaggerating, I was not able to wash myself without hitting everything.
There are no slippers to walk inside the room (not essential but important for a 4 star hotel)
The bidet drain was broken and when I tried to use it got filled with water and was in the middle of the night.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff
Posted 24 Jul 2023 on HotelsThis is a beautiful hotel. The pools were clean, lots of chairs and loungers. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to help and make your stay memorable. There was a variety of choices at the continental breakfast, and the food was always fresh. Make sure you check out the daily specials at the spa. Highly recommend this hotel. The only negative thing I can say about it is that the shower in my room was extremely small.

The only thing I did not like about the room was the size of the shower. It was really small, barely enough room to turn around in. Otherwise a great hotel. I loved having the balcony overlooking the pool.

Property is basic. Beds are hard. ZERO benefit of being a vip access property or being an Expedia gold member.
