The room is specious with A/C ! And a nice shower. There were ear plugs by the bed , i think to block the noice of the frogs but i think it was charming. Staff was great. Only thing is that it's not in the historic part but it takes only several minutes to get there. Ignore the shabby street, people are very nice.

Delightful hotel with lovely internal courtyard garden spaces. Staff were very friendly and helpful in organising trips etc. Definitely recommend

Como en mi casa
Posted 5 Jan 2024 on HotelsEmpecemos por la ubicación, ya que Casa el Suizo se encuentra a tan solo 5 minutos andando del centro.
Las habitaciones son grandes y cada una con su propio patio al aire libre donde se sirve el desayuno.
Lo más importante, sin embargo, es el personal: una familia ítalo-cubana que nos recibió calurosamente, aconsejándonos sobre los mejores restaurantes de la zona y las zonas a visitar en los alrededores.

We spent two wonderful days at Casa El Suizo and I can definitely recommend this accommodation.
Most of the rooms have their own terrace where a nice breakfast is served in the morning. The bedroom and especially the bathroom is VERY clean and toilet and shower are working perfectly (which is in Cuba very rare ;-)). When we arrived Mary came to the front door and welcomed us with a delicious mango juice <3 :-). If you need something: there is always somebody from 7 in the morning until 7 in the evening.
A big advantage of Casa El suizo is that all the sights of Trinidad you can reach within minutes by feet.

Die Unterkunft sieht wirklich sehr gut aus. Die Zimmer sind sauber, groß und geräumig. Das inkludierte Frühstück ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Innenstadt ist schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Der Service war auch super! Wir brauchten ein bisschen mehr Cash und konnten das ganz unkompliziert per Überweisung in peso tauschen. Vielen Dank!!
Einziger Kritikpunkt: Es war soooo laut. Es hört sich an als ob nebenan eine Farm mit sehr vielen Hühnern und vor allem Hähnen ist. Man hört die Geräusche Tag und Nacht die ganze Zeit so dass man teilweise kaum sein eigenes Wort versteht. Das war wirklich ziemlich anstrengend.
Für die Nachbarn kann man leider nichts, die Unterkunft war sonst echt super!
