"The location was great, the hotel was clean, and the staff was amazing. We needed to change hotels because the Splendid Premium was full on our last night. Our new hotel was close but walking with our suitcases wasn’t an option. Lily and her colleagues arranged to take us by motorbike to the new hotel and then they delivered our suitcases- above and beyond level of service! I definitely recommend this hotel if you are going to Hanoi!"

"Great hotel within easy walking distance of Old Quarter and French Quarter attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good variety of hotel dining and drinking options. My only suggestion for improvement: heat up the jaccuzi."

"If you want to stay in / close to the Old Quarter, this is a great option. We did the old quarter suite which is at the back of the hotel so slightly quieter. Very convenient and walkable to all areas. "

"Conveniently located close to everything. Rooms where very comfortable and great value. We stayed on 2 different bookings, and we would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was amazing the rooms were very comfortable. The first time we stayed in an executive room and it was very nice and spacious with a large bathroom and the second stay we booked the same room but when we arrived at 3 am on the morning of our booking the staff went above and beyond and offered us a standard room at no extra cost (again we were way early for our booking). The standard room was obviously smaller but just as comfortable for the 2 of us. The bathroom did not have a bathtub but the shower was big, they offered to move all of our belongings g to our originally booked room but we declined because we were just fine. For that exchange without us asking for anything in return they offered us a free transfer to the airport. Things that they do not need to do but the staff just kept impressing us with their attentiveness specially Angela and Anna. It was the small things that they did for us that made this stay exceptional and very comfortable. I could go on about the entire staff and wished I remembered all of their name so I can mention all of them. Breakfast staff was also very attentive. Thank you very much Hanoi Lotus hotel staff for making our stay unforgettable."

"Hotel Solis. I booked this hotel based on its excellent reviews on Expedia, and it exceeded my expectations. Shortly after my booking, the staff contacted me and helped me arrange transfer to and from the airport. My room was a suite with a lovely sitting area and an outside balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive. They have a desk in the lobby to assist their guests with booking local tours and other activities. I did not use it—I generally free-lance when I travel, but I saw many others using it and it is nice to have. They also had spa services, which seemed to be popular, but we did not use those either-our focus was on exploring Hanoi. On check out day, we headed down to the lobby, and as I was signing the credit card receipt, housekeeping called the front desk and told them that we had left a plug adapter in the room, which they brought to us a minute or two later. I have never had a hotel check my room for forgotten items before, and I really appreciated this extra touch. The hotel also has a nice rooftop pool and an excellent rooftop bar. On this same trip to Southeast Asia, I stated at other hotels that I booked through the Marriott reservation system and other booking sites. Hotel Solis was my favorite of them all. Highly recommended. "

"The property is in a perfect location , a short walk to many main attractions of Hanoi. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped me find my way and arrange taxis etc during my stay . Would highly recommend the Royal Palace Hotel to anyone . I felt safe and comfortable "

"Soon after booking we received a helpful communication pack with offers of trips from the hotel. These were fairly priced so we booked a HaLong bay trip in advance of arrival which included a complimentary airport pickup. This was most welcome after a long journey from Manchester."
