The team at the farm is very warm, friendly and helpful. Apart from the lovely team, we love that there is a proper restaurant in the farm and that there are enough activities in the farm to keep everyone engaged. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time at bestbrook and will definitely be back again.

Absolute gem
Posted 25 Jul 2023 on HotelsThe property is so beautiful, so many opportunities to meet the animals, very comfortable tidy cabins, heard that the camping area is awesome also. Lovely restaurant and bar. Horse riding was exceptional. So nice to sit by the camp fire. This is my new favourite place!

Great family getaway
Posted 2 Sep 2021 on HotelsWe had a great time over the weekend. This is a great family orientated place to stay. They have so much to offer that we didn't get time to do everything. Horse riding, whip cracking, you name it - you can do it.
The cabins are very lived in but with a kids that's a good thing. The kitchen was pretty well set up. There was a BBQ on the verandah but we didn't get time to use it.
It was quite a busy place with camping sites, cabins and dorm accommodation. My grandchildren loved it.
The only thing us adults could fault was the beds. Whilst they were queen sized the mattresses were quite uncomfortable. I find this in most accommodation beds though. It's only nicer hotels that offer that extra comfortable beds.

Bestbrook Mountain Resort - Great for Family
Posted 22 Aug 2018
Pros: Family friendly, relaxing
Cons: More activities even if offered every second day with small fee (eg guided bushwalk, bonfire night, archery, self paced treasure hunt).
A great family getaway.
An opportunity to get back to nature and enjoy the outdoors. It is a very relaxed and child friendly property.
Great to see the kids patting pigs and cows, riding horses and cuddling puppies. They were collecting firewood and building fires, trying whip cracking and boomerang throwing and just running and playing outdoors. They even learnt a lot in a fun environment.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is good and the portions are very generous.
With a range of accommodation from campsites, caravan sites, dorms and cabins there is something to suit everyone. We stayed in a cabin which, while it is showing its age a little, was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.
This was our second visit to Bestbrook and hopefully not our last.
