Extremely poor room
Posted 23 Oct 2023 on HotelsWe spent 2 nights. The room was inadequate - no draws to store clothing, small wardrobe with no hangers for trousers or slacks. The bathroom was far too small, entry had to be sideways, and no room to towel off after a shower, which was extremely tight to get into.
When advised to reception that room was inadequate and not as ordered, we were fobbed off to take it or leave it as it was the only room they had left - they were full up.
Had we known this was the situation when booking, we would not have booked.
The website does not describe all the rooms available - only their best rooms.

I did not meet any staff. However everything worked perfectly and the room was immaculately clean. Excellent value!

The location its very close to downtown and important places. The only issue they dont have elevator. The STAFF is amazing.

This hotel is as it promises to be - and more. Somehow it is rated 2 stars but it’s at least 3. The hotel staff take pride in their property - and it shows in all aspects. It is clean and functional (although no elevator) and the air conditioning was very welcome! The building is a typical a French urban building on a prominent and popular square with Al fresco seating and numerous cafes to choose from. Right near the Loire River and a very short walk from the old town and pedestrian shopping streets. Street parking was readily available at every time except dinner and was free overnight. There are many activities possible in the surrounding area.
This is a classy small city and well-recommended for a visit!
