We are english speakers and the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The room was large and the hotel was conveniently located close to the Train Station.

Small, Frenchy hotel with a great staff
Posted 5 Jun 2023 on HotelsThis hotel is absolutely lovely if you are an admirer of old French-style buildings. You need to consider that cause this is not a new building with soundproof walls etc. but that's the charm and some noise really didn't bother me. The outside garden is a jewel and you can use it all day long. Breakfast is nice, although it could have some vegetables and more regional chees selections. The best of the best is the staff! They are so nice and helpful, they even got us an early breakfast cause our train was leaving to around 7am.

Although the hotel is cute, there is no air conditioning and no fans in the rooms to circulate air. Hotel rooms open up over busy street so traffic noise is an issue and windows cannot be left open. Nothing in the immediate vicinity—food, etc. Also, neither desk clerk was able to communicate in English.

Beautiful hotel room located right in thn heart of Tours. Easy access to main shopping district and train station. And a beautiful view.
