Posted 2 Oct 2019 on HotelsNice location up the hill with beautiful views of the lake. Great restaurant on premises. We initially made a reservation to some local restaurant for my wife's birthday, but after checking their menu and an option of sitting on a balcony with a great view, we changed our mind. It was worth it.

Firstly, at the time of booking they guaranteed the room for 3 adults which in reality could only sleep 2. They told us on arrival that 3 of us could perfectly sleep on a small double bed!!! This was unacceptable for us, therefore we had to book an extra room and obviously spend more money!! Secondly, you cannot possibly sleep with the window open because of the church bell which is extremely loud. Once you close the window the room becomes very hot and the air-conditioning they have is a disaster!!

First of all we expected your review. You wanted to pay in 2 and sleep in 3 this is not possible. We waited 2 hours at the reception because you phoned Expedia to say that the hotel was wrong but Expedia reiterated that the error was solely and exclusively yours You paid in more because we have proposed another single room for your 22 year old daughter with a big discount which in the end cost you 60 Euros in total but with 2 rooms. As for the church bell we are getting ready to break it down and finally for the air conditioning no customer complained.

Panoramic Breakfast
Posted 15 Sep 2018Just returning from Hotel Panorama and the experience was fantastic. The hotel is tucked away in a little village called Albisino which is quite a climb from the lake itself (don’t worry there is a free shuttle service to take you up and down).
The hotel was very clean and the staff very happy to help. Our room was comfortable and also very clean.
The crown jewel for this hotel is the view for breakfast which amazing across the lake. Breakfast provided a lot of options with an egg station which I personally enjoyed.
All round a very positive experience.

Great views, hotel just fine.
Posted 14 Aug 2015 on HotelsStunning views which is what made our stay worthwhile - especially from the terrace area. Swimming pool area is very small and hard to get a space on a sun lounger around the pool - there are also sun chairs though.
The little town is nice and there are a few nice restaurants nearby as well as a supermarket very close. Getting a taxi into the town of Torri de Benaco cost 18 Euros each way.
The room was small but fine and the air con was quite weak but enough for us. It would be nice if there was a little fridge or something so you can keep drinks cold, especially in the hot weather. We had to clean cobwebs and spiders out of all four corners of the ceiling when we arrived.
We were told just before arriving that we would have to swap into a different room for our final night as they had double booked us. They didn't really apologise for this or offer us any sort of compensation for the inconvenience. In the end, however, the issue was resolved and we didn't have to move. When we first arrived we wanted to order a drink and when we asked to see the menu they told us they don't have a bar menu which was quite annoying. It's nice to know what's on offer and how much you might be going to be charged for it before you order! We ate one lunch at the restaurant which was OK. Breakfasts were fine - typical continental spread. The pastries were particularly nice compared with others we've experience in this type of breakfast.
Wifi and parking were good.
