I have arrived at the hotel I have booked Expedia travel confirmation - Fri, 9 Feb. - (Itinerary # 7265487521140) The Sherwood Palm Hotel, Torquay BeachBelgrave Rd, 1, Torquay, and the hotel is closed to the public, I have paid for this booking and it has come out of my bank account and I am not able to get into the hotel they have turned me away. I am so angry, I want a refund of my £106.37 and compensation for the mistake you have make, I made this booking in September last year and no one had contacted me to say the hotel would be closed and no refund given and no one to tell me I would need to find another hotel

the room was so bad. the light was hanging off the toilet seat was loss there where holes in the wall window was smashed there was dust on wardrobe. the wardrobe door was hanging off the shelf was broken on the wardrode and bathroom shelf above the skin was hanging down the fire alarm went off at 3am for no reason partner went to see if everything wad ok and the manger was rude to her and said just it a fault in the system just go back bed will never stay here again.

No breakfast option or bar. My room didn't have a TV remote. Staff were friendly but when I noticed the issues I couldn't find anyone as it was late.

Great place great service great stay
Posted 7 Sep 2023 on HotelsStayed for over a month whilst waiting for a house move was very well looked after by staff always kept room clean and could have fresh towels when wanted, very close to beach and free parking also a little shop next door for essentials was a bonus 👍👍👍

The hotel excels for it's location being a very short walk from the beach and town centre and the very good service.
