If you have an important day like your 20th wedding anniversary, do not trust it with St Regis. What a waste of $1100 let me tell you. I was too upset to even spend on the night. We only booked for the spa. St Regis website did not mention spa was closed. Tried to cancel immediately multiple days in advance because we really wanted a spa. Hotel would not respond. Asked to speak to a manager, asked me to sit down to wait for them, said they would be a minute, too much time went by, said they got tied up on the way to see me with something else, that's understandable. Other simple things would even expect from a 3 star hotel weren't met. Decided not to stay the night, during checkout I spoke to a manager, explained what happened, said I didn't want a refund, I wanted an incentive to return some time in the future. Offered nothing but a call back today, but the call never came as expected. They dropped the ball in so many ways. C hospitality.

Best hotel in Toronto. Excellent staff who are so helpful. Amazingly clean, well designed rooms. Very quiet and peaceful.

While I have loved staying at the Toronto St Regis in the past. This time there was a hole in the ceiling of the bathroom of my first room. It was unsightly but I didn't mind it enough to want to move. I was informed on my second day (my only light work day) that I had to move rooms. I complied but I will say I was surprised that I was neither upgraded nor given something in return as it was the Hotel's decision to move my not mine.
