perfect location, very decent for the price; very sweet and friendly vibes in the dining and common area where backpackers from all over the world cook, eat, work on their computers, chat together. breakfast is simple but not bad at all - tea/coffee, bread/bagel, milk cereal and fruits.

I arrived at approximately 1:30am due to a flight delay. Check in was quick and simple. Room was very warm when I entered. My personal light at my bed was disconnected and there was no electrical outlet nearby. I was also not able to charge my phone because of this. Washrooms regularly seemed to be running low on tissue. Expect a continental breakfast so don't expect an egg, bacon, sandwich made to order as others have mentioned. On the positive side, the staff here was really friendly and will help you with your reasonable needs. Great hostel group activities.

We're also glad to hear you enjoyed our friendly staff as our activities led by our volunteers. We're sorry to hear you were unable to find the outlet for your bed. We have one for every bed, sometimes it's just a matter of moving the bed a little bit. Our housekeepers would've been happy to help you find where it is located. As for the breakfast, we have recently changed the menu to a continental buffet breakfast because our original breakfast was not enough for most people. We hope you had fun here regardless and we hope to have you again if you ever come back to Toronto!

I really liked the view I had from my room. It was much better than I was expecting. Breakfast was nice and the wifi was great.
