The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the outdoor pool in the hot weather but be warned it isn’t heated. The gym and sauna are small 3 or 4 people at most the situation of the hotel is very convenient for visiting the castle & convent, shops, cafes & restaurants . The hotel hosts lots of conferences. Odd number rooms overlook the park and pool. Even numbers overlook the car park and views to the castle. I felt there was mor bedding than was necessary, the air conditioning was quite noisy and there were no USB ports in the room. The decor of the overall hotel is beginning to show it’s age but overall I would visit again.

A very comfortable and entirely civilised hotel. Gracious staff, very quiet, piano bar, perfect location for touring Tomar. A slice of how genteel life used to be. Would definitely stay again!

This is quite a nice hotel. There weren’t many people there even though there was some kind of Knights Templar convention in town. We met one. I didn’t know it was still a thing.
I went down for a drink and dinner but there was no bartender so I went to the restaurant and I was the only one there. I may have been early as it was only 2030h. I ordered a drink that wasn’t on the menu and seemed to cause some confusion but they brought it to me and it was really good. I ordered a Caesar salad that was really chicken croquettes with 3 small pieces of lettuce on top of them. It wasn’t what I was expecting but it also was very good.
