Check in and check out are quick. Baggage hold was convenient. Coin laundry worked. Good location and close by a 711. However, the temperature in the room is constantly hot and the ac does not work and the windows do not open.

Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa
lobby was clean and wide, check-in service was quick and efficient, miles above the other Prince property we stayed at (Shinagawa Prince). Triple room had coffee and tea, good shower pressure.

Tokyu Stay Takanawa (Shinagawa Area)
Stayed here a couple of nights for return trip. Close by a couple of metro stations with different lines. If you catch a rapid line, only three stops or 20 mins to/from Haneda. Local eateries, 15 min walk to Shinagawa area. Hotel was clean and pretty reasonably sized for Japan standards. Bonus - ...
