For a budget hotel, it’s a great choice! Ueno is an awesome neighbourhood. The hotel is just across the street from the train station but still on a fairly quiet street with food options. The hotel is charming and the room was small but very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Dated and small, but expected. It was fine for a quick overnight stay, but I wouldn’t have liked it for any longer. One front desk attendant was quite curt, but another was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Solo stay. Room was clean and fresh. All the staff were great. Location is pretty good, there is so much to do in Tokyo, no matter where you stay, you will need to travel, but 30-40 from most places. Area around the hotel was quiet at night.

The staff are Welcoming, kind, helpful and friendly. Very comfortable Beds, though the pillows are inconsistent in firmness. Enough space for two adults if you are reasonable about the size for the price and area. Would recommend.

Ce petit hôtel près de la gare de Ueno est vraiment super pour visiter Tokyo. Nous pouvions accéder facilement à pleins de quartiers de la ville en métro. Le quartier autour de l’hôtel est tranquille avec quelques rues animées non loin à pied. L’hôtel n’est pas très moderne mais il a du charme, et il convient tout à fait pour faire du tourisme la journée. Le personnel est gentil et serviable, la chambre petite mais propre. Nous y avons passé une semaine, j’y retournerai avec plaisirs!
