Loved our time at the Barn. The staff were all so pleasant to deal with and were very accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here. The surrounding areas had many great family run restaurants and has close access to many trains

Really enjoyed our stay at The Barn Tokyo. Very close to a metro station and some great food options around. We had the best Ramen of our whole trip at Ramen Nagayama nearby. Staff and service were outstanding. Highly recommend!

Hands down, one of the best hotels we have stayed in! So lovely in every way, and it absolutely deserves the excellent reviews it receives! The place is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood, near train station and very centrally located. The staff is so kind and attentive, and we even did our laundry for a very reasonable price and they folded everything so nicely. They have nice little breakfast pastries and bananas. The room is immaculate, very tastefully decorated and the most comfortable bed. We had my 3 adult kids in one Queen room and with a futon, it had plenty of space. Such a lovely way to start our vacation, this is the best place you’ll find in Tokyo!

Train station very close. Quick dining areas. Don Quijote close by. All walkable. ( 5 to 10 minute walk) Hotel was very quiet and very nice. Staff was really excellent Especially Nic. The service was excellent, and it was located in an area that was extremely convenient and near the wonderful Ueno Park. Most importantly for me, it was in a quiet neighborhood and it was very easy to access the nearby metro station.

This was an excellent hotel, located not far from the station on the circle line (Yamanote line) and easy walk to Ueno park. Rooms very comfortable and clean, made to feel welcome by staff and enjoyed our 2 stays here. Probably the best hotel we stayed in on our trip!! Thank you!😀

Beautiful boutique hotel, great and helpful staff, hot shower, amenities were all offered before being asked for. The room itself was set up perfectly for 2 people and the bed is super comfy. Excellent experience!

Our stay at The Barn Toyko was nothing short of perfection. The staff was very kind and friendly as well as helpful. The room was clean and sizable. Bathroom was was also comfortable to use and a good size! Excellent hotel, i would highly tecommend it and I will be booking with them again in the future!

Loved the smaller, modern setup. Mary was a fabulous host! Rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. Building is a couple minutes walk from the JR train lines, couple minutes walk to a big grocery store and many restaurants. Could hear upstairs neighbors walking on occasion, but it’s a hotel. Would stay here again.

Wonderful boutique hotel

On the east side of Tokyo walkable to Ueno Park which is great. East transport less than 10min walk to the JR Yamanote line which takes you to all the places you’ll want to visit. Warm welcome and welcome drink. Kimonos in room. Spotlessly clean. Bread rolls and bananas to start your day. Lovely staff. Fella like home away from home. Good shower. Kettle, fridge and hairdryer in the room.

I just had the most amazing two weeks at The Barn hotel in Tokyo! The staff were so friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. They were always ready to assist with any requests, from recommending restaurants to helping me navigate the city. The location was perfect – close to everything I wanted to see and do, yet still quiet and peaceful. Being on the Yamanote line made it easy to get around and explore all the city has to offer. There were also plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and even a small Don Quijote nearby for last-minute shopping. The hotel itself was super clean and comfortable, with a lovely little garden to relax in. The room was always spotless and regularly tended to. The only thing I missed was a full-length mirror, but that's a minor detail. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better stay and I can't wait to come back! But again, I really want to insist on the fact that staff was really the highlight of the hotel, I may have seemed like a cold guest but this amazing service did not go unnoticed.
