The property was clean. Well the space is too confined.

Excellent location! This hotel is a smart choice for anyone transiting to or from Haneda airport. The monorail, various subway stations, and JR Yamanote line are all within a few minutes’ walk.

It was a rude shock when we opened the door to our room. If you have ever shared a freshman dorm, the standard room at Santo Inn Grande is smaller than that. I would definitely not recommend this hotel for people with claustrophobia. Low ceilings complicate the whole thing.
When you check the amenities, it seems there is everything in 15sqm / 160sqft. There is a bath-tub, but it is half the size. The shower is half the size. Sink is right near the bed, which is yuk. It is a scramble to have 2 people in the room. Pictures on their website are deceptive.
Front desk seems friendly, but keep a translator handy.
If there is one positive, it is the TOTO toilet seat which is high tech, but that too is in a very tight space.

Excellent location for trains, monorail etc. Although the room was small it provided all we needed. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The coin laundry machine does not dry clothes fully, they are all dump after a full wash and dry cycle.
The bathroom had a bathtub as well as a strong shower which was really nice, as many hotels with similar rooms will only provide a shower these days.
