The area around is good.
Little far from the nearest station. Supermarket is super closed.

The owner was so friendly and helpful. He could understand some English too, though we mainly spoke in Japanese. We stayed for a short time but it was worth it.

If you want to experience a Japanese style room experience, this might be for you. You get a small tatami room with futons, shared bath and toilets (kept immaculately clean) in a older Japanese style house (narrow staircase, sliding doors, etc) but recently rennovated with modern conveniences.
The Gotanda neighbourhood is extremely interesting, a wonderful combination of old and new. The walk along the river is exceptionally beautiful.
