Staff were very welcoming. Room was typical in general, though price a bit high. Location great. The only real frustration is only being given the bare minimum with 1 single pillow, 1 single body towel, 1 single hand towel.

Great hotel in the middle of Ryogoku. Subway is right across the street. McD’s, 7/11x Family Mart are all right next door. Great location for a base to explore Tokyo.

Easy access to all the Tokyo train lines, lots of food options around the area, lots of conbini around the hotel. Hotel was in a nice quiet area. Hotel was very clean. Staff was nice and respectful. I would recommend people stay in this hotel for their visit.

Lovely hotel but felt a little out of place. Did not realize the demographic of people staying here, felt a little bit out of place and felt like I was being a nuisance for being a foreigner by the person I checked in with but their colleague offered amazing kindness and support to help finish off the check-in process.

Great hotel although the room, in keeping with most hotels of this class in Tokyo, was a little small with little or no room to store clothes (we were 3 in a double room though to be fair). Close to both Ryogoku stations and the Sumo wrestling district. Staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful and an adjoining cafe served great food and open long hours. Area was safe, lots of places to eat or buy food nearby. Would use this hotel again without doubt.

The room was overall good for needing a place to sleep. The room got super hot and the AC system only worked for heating. Didn’t seem like there was a washer or dryer amenities which wasn’t amazing. There wasn’t any bathroom extractor so the bathroom would stay hot and steamy for a while which would make the room hot. The location was nice as it was close to the station and a good amount of food places. I did ask for extra pillows as they were hard on my neck but I never received any. Overall good for just needing a place to sleep but nothing out of the ordinary.

Great location with friendly staff. Beds are very firm, but that is fairly standard in Japan. Not much room to store clothing and luggage in the room, but did have a great luggage storage option in day of departure.

Fantastic hotel, with good breakfast cafe underneath and plenty of restaurants close by. Opposite JR, 600m from Metro stop. Close to Sumo & Sword museum. Great rooms and helpful staff.

The room we were given initially had an awful smell in the bathroom so we were moved to another, however the ventilation was terrible - the room smelled musty and stale overall. Housekeeping was inconsistent - ie. one night we weren’t given any pyjamas; the room was generally tired and needed an upgrade. There was a lovely young lady with excellent English at reception who was extremely helpful; we would not be returning.

We loved the location. If you like to learn about Sumo, this is the perfect location for your stay. Around the hotel are easy dinner options, no lines and waiting times like with many other places in Tokyo. The breakfast was good. Many options to choose from. The room was quiet and was cleaned daily. Public transport access was great, just a 1 min walk from the hotel.
