Had a wonderful stay! Check-in was flawless. The staff were kind and welcoming. The onsen was rejuvenating and the amenities were exactly what I needed. I also had a great night of sleep. Quiet and comfortable.. Would absolutely stay here again :)
Amazing stay, loved the tatami mats in the whole hotel. Breakfast was amazing, night ramen was good, yogurt drink and ice cream post bath really hit the spot. Hotel was kept spotless and staff were very nice and helpful with both luggage storage and sending it to the next hotel.
Hotel is new and in good location. Very cozy lovely hotel for family stay. No car park available and better consider to take the train instead car to go. Everything is good except front desk staff a bit cool and don’t feel the warm welcome as other Japanese hotel.
Extremely clean, well kept, and comfortable hotel with cool amenities like a public bath and a manga library. We speak little to no Japanese but every member of the staff was kind and acommodating. I would highly recommend staying here when in Tokyo!
Rooms and environment were clean. Lots of amenities available, although it would have been nice to have body lotion available. Onsens can get quite busy, but still appreciated!
The spa area is excellent with compact but very great variety of bath types, one so amazingly hot, and a sauna. For the well-beaten tourist path on the east side of Tokyo I would recommend but not more than a couple nights as travel to the west side is not easy nor quick.
The location is pretty intense close to Sensoji temple but at least 6-8 minute walk from each station through croweded area and there are no direct trains unless going close by.
The breakfast, which is expensive, is not worth it.
Pros:
- nice and quiet at night
- spacious rooms
- very quaint feeling hotel with a lot of nice touches (manga room, free wash laundry, snacks)
- spa is one of the best
Cons:
- inconvenient to use as travel base except for immediate area
- food, breakfast buffet, is neither of quality or variety- skip
Loved this place. Definitely more on the traditional side with tatami everywhere and Japanese decor. Great breakfast, great service, super-clean. The onsen with natural spring water was a great bonus. The Asakusa area is one of our favourite places in Tokyo as well.
Overall we had a fantastic stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, all amenities were lovely. The room was clean and comfortable. The only unfortunate thing is that the baths/hot springs prohibited tattoos so we didn't get to enjoy that part of our stay.
The breakfast was amazing, so many options and everything was delicious.
