The spa area is excellent with compact but very great variety of bath types, one so amazingly hot, and a sauna. For the well-beaten tourist path on the east side of Tokyo I would recommend but not more than a couple nights as travel to the west side is not easy nor quick. The location is pretty intense close to Sensoji temple but at least 6-8 minute walk from each station through croweded area and there are no direct trains unless going close by. The breakfast, which is expensive, is not worth it. Pros: - nice and quiet at night - spacious rooms - very quaint feeling hotel with a lot of nice touches (manga room, free wash laundry, snacks) - spa is one of the best Cons: - inconvenient to use as travel base except for immediate area - food, breakfast buffet, is neither of quality or variety- skip

The only unfortunate thing is that the baths/hot springs prohibited tattoos so we didn't get to enjoy that part of our stay. The breakfast was amazing, so many options and everything was delicious.
