We chose this hotel over others on account of its proximity to the city centre. Yet the location was still quiet and had a slight view of the river from our room. We loved the staff, service, cleanliness, spaciousness, breakfast choice and convenient location. Our only gripe was regarding the availability of a wheelchair. We checked ahead that one was available. What we neglected to check was whether we were allowed the leave the hotel with it. We were not. That put a huge dampener on what was otherwise the best city break experience.

The hotel is located near a hospital. Emergency vehicles with sirens come by all hours of the night to wake you. There is construction nearby so if you do manage to drift off the morning jackhammer will wake you. There is also a traffic cop that loves to blow the whistle first thing in the morning. Staff explained they will not move to a quiet room on the opposite side. Expedia will not help resolve this issue after I asked for help. We suffered through 4 nights here. Worst hotel experience we had in Japan.

The location was good, as the area was quiet but close enough to a subway station for touring Tokyo. The property was clean, and the separate room for the bidet was helpful having 4 people in one room. The breakfast buffet was okay, but not a lot of options for children, considering the price. The staff seemed bothered when we needed assistance, but they did provide good service. The hotel was clean and adequate.
