The staff were very accommodating to my late arrival onto the property. For the most part it seems like they have someone at the desk or in the back office at all given hours which is extremely helpful. Most of the staff here speak some English, and are very friendly. The room i was in was a decent size for a hotel room in Tokyo, and the bathroom was the typical unit bath you can expect in almost every hotel in Japan. The area surrounding the hotel has great food and drinking options, especially if you decide to travel to Ningyocho, which is extremely close as well. There is also laundry on the premises, however if you need larger machines you will find them nearby with a google search.

Close to a number of metro stations. Lots of food choices in the area. The rooms are small but that's to be expected for the price point. The building is on the older side but kept clean. Laundry facilities are a bonus.

Our second stay here and it was just as good as the first. Staff are very polite and friendly, rooms are very small and the beds are very hard so may not suit someone who prefers a softer night’s sleep or a bit more space but absolutely no problem for us.

We stay in this hotel every time we visit Tokyo (at least once a year) and wouldn’t have it any other way. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak English if you need. They location is super convenient for metro stations and access to tourist spots, but is in a quiet neighbourhood itself. For the price this hotel has what you need to explore the city and have a base to live out of. The rooms are on the small side, which is to be expected, but there’s all you need and the water pressure in the shower is ace. We will be back

With two subway stations within easy walking distance, several Combini, excellent independent restaurants and a quiet laid back evening ambience, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The small rooms won't suit everybody's tastes, but if you think of your hotel room more as a place to sleep and shower before your next adventure than a place you'll be spending your walking hours, then this won't bother you. If you're a couple with 2 cases each, you might struggle for space, but single travellers will find the rooms just big enough, with beds high enough to slide cases underneath. The staff are lovely, very welcoming, and made check in and check out very easy. In fact, we arrived well ahead of the 3pm check in time, and they just gave us our keys and let us have our rooms early. Even if this isn't possible on your visit, the hotel are happy to look after your cases while you go out and explore the local area of you arrive before check in time and your room isn't ready yet.

I have been staying at this hotel for the 8 times i have travelled to Tokyo. They are in a good location and they are cheap. They have a coin laundry so i dont have to pack a lot of clothes as i can wash them there. There is good travel routes with a small walk to Bakuro Yohohama station which will get you direct to Shinjuku in about 20 mins or a 5 min train ride or 15 min walk to Akihabara. The area around the hotel is full of culture and amazing places to eat however it does have a few issues. The beds are hard and noisy, the walls are a bit thin so you can near the snorers next door and the rooms are small however as someone who is 6 foot 3 i found the beds are longer then my bed at home so i was able to fit in the bed. In the end this is my hotel of choice, It is a little out of the way but to me thats the charm of it.

Firstly I hate being the person who complains but if I’m honest in the 6 weeks I’ve travelled in Japan over the last 2 years this was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Firstly, there was a broken hanger and pair of slippers left behind from the previous person, the fridge didn’t work, even on the lowest setting everything kept freezing so I couldn’t use it to how I would have wanted to. The bathroom was also covered in mold. The tile, the tub, the shower curtain. I always travel with Lysol wipes for my phone and I’m glad I did because I just ended up cleaning everything myself instead of going through the hassle of navigating the language barrier for something like this. Also, since the windows didn’t open, even though it was a non smoking room the ventilation for the building was so I would be smoked out in my room and had to counter it with the fan and freshener spray provided in the lobby. I was there for 9 days and I would say for the price in a pinch it would be fine for a day or two. The laundry was convenient with free detergent which was a bonus and the staff was kind (I forgot my key in the door since they are physical keys and had to call the front desk with my limited Japanese and they were great for that! Super kind) but the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. I also witnessed on one of my last nights a couple confronting the front desk with a pillow that was “smelly and unacceptable” so I know my room isn’t just a one off.
