Feel like a residential area, always quiet and peaceful. No major inconvenience. The staffs were friendly and helpful.

Cheap, clean, basic, cramped
Posted 3 Feb 2020 on HotelsThe neighbourhood is lovely, the Yamanote Line and the Subway are a short walk away, the price is low, and it's very clean. The rooms are very small indeed, check-in is open only until 6pm (you have to call a staff member down via a courtesy phone if you arrive after that), and there are no frills. It's a bit faded, and the washlet in my room didn't work, but for the price it's decent value as long as you know what you're getting: it's a weekly residence rather than a hotel, so they're not going to come in and make your bed every day. If that bothers you (it doesn't bother me), look elsewhere.

The hotel is situated at a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood in which I really enjoyed. It’s somehow near the Sugamo station and near the Sugamo market. The staff are very polite and attentive. The only problem is that they don’t do room service. Nonetheless, I still liked the simple ambiance of the hotel. My room has almost everything that I needed, from microwave to electric stove.

A very Japanese experience: the business hotel. Very local neighboorhood. Great value for money: coin laundry , microwave, rice cooker, kettle, stores close by. Very Japanese so clever use of the limited space. Loved it

Close to Sugamo Station,safe and quiet area.

Pros: Location, toiletries provided, friendly staff who also provided me with a simple but accurate weighing scale to check my luggage (phew)!
Cons: AC instructions could be in english! It would also be great if there were more English tv channels (CNN was the only one). Rubbish needs to be emptied

The hotel is a simple place and easy to get to from Sugamo Station (JR), along with the subway/metro that also runs there. It is close to another JR station Otsukaekimae Station should you need it... 700m away. For the price and location it is quite a good buy.

Nice neighborhood with nice temple and local market.Excellent service.I would like to stay there again next time.
