Staff are friendly and informative. The cafe is excellent. The building is dated but clean. A bit hard get up to some of the pod so ask ahead of time via email to get the lower bunker. It is good and affordable alternative if you only want a place to sleep at the end of your day.

Posted 16 Nov 2023 on HotelsFacilities consist of only a bed, toilets, lockers, and showers in a room that is reminiscent of a beehive, which is kind of charming. The cafe on the bottom floor has amazing food, coffee, vibes, and even Luup parking. I've stayed in many similar places during my Japan travels, but none rival the way locals embrace and fill the cafe day and night. They are definitely doing something right. I wished for a refrigerator during my week stay, but what am i doing eating in when in the dining capital of the world? The hostel is located in frankly the hippest neighborhood I've stayed, Japan wide, with Shibuya just down Kamiyama street (hello walking home after clubbing) and Harajuku only a bit further. Amazing coffee on every block, a Blue Lug bicycle shop (iykyk) immediate train access, and fantastic food everywhere. My only knock on the neighborhood from a tourist perspective is that so many of the dining options are european. Book early, as beds are full almost every night.

Very nice hostel but you do have to walk up a big flight of stairs with your luggage but the hostel women helped me. Also make sure you buy ear- plugs or else you’ll hear people digging in there bags all night long lol! I’d stay here again very clean!
