This hotel is really nice and clean, look like a Mexican village, so pretty. I recommend it, rooms are so cozy, we’ve had a good time.

My husband and I chose this property for the closeness to Chichen Itza Archaeological zone. We were pleasently surprised to find a tropical paradise awaiting for us when we pulled up to the front door. The grounds are beautiful. Flowering plants cascade from the balconies and birds sing in the trees. At night the night creatures sing as you sit in the central courtyard next to the pool. Archaeological statues and relics are displayed in the hotel and in the gardens. The room was exceptionally quiet and clean with good air conditioning. The beds were a bit too firm for my liking but still comfortable enough. Unfortunately the room has no T V or refrigerator but the hotel does have a library and tv room with pool table and Netflix. The restaurant was very good and had a buffet breakfast both days we were there. Don't expect to be able to walk to the park however as the hotel is opposite the park from the entrance and you can no longer get in the rear gate. They called us a taxi however and it only cost 100 pesos to get to the main gate. I would really recommend this hotel and will definately stay again next time we visit the great ruin of Chichen Itza.

The is a lovely older hotel. Have stayed here at least 4 times on visits to Chichén Itzá. Wonderful was to see the ruins. You stay over night at this hotel and then you go see ruins first thing in the AM before crowds from Cancun show up. Perfect. Pool is beautiful. Breakfast around the pool is wonderful. Staff used to b a little friendlier. Also hotel used soft white lighting before which just made the place elegant. They have gone to bright LED lights. I hope they go to soft white LEDs soon and restore the magical properties of the property.

We stayed for 2 nights in July, 2023 around a visit to Chichen Itza. This hotel is obviously suffering until the second entrance to Chichen Itza is reopened -- it honestly felt like a ghost town there, and is looking a bit frayed around the edges. It was frustrating to be able to walk 5 minutes to the closed entrance, but have to catch a taxi to the main entrance instead. Still, the rooms were clean, the staff was uniformly friendly, and it was a nice retreat after the crowds at the main site. I also rented a bike and rode to the nearby Cenote IK Kil (about a 5 minute bike ride), which was a great way to spend the afternoon after our Chichen Itza visit. Also, the sounds of the frogs in the evening were spectacular!

Sedate beautiful setting. Stars were beautiful, wished they would turn down lights in the evening to make them even more visible.
