Posted 18 Jun 2023 on HotelsThe only window in the room was in the bathroom. WIth an open shower and blinds that did not fully close, I had to shower in the dark so the kids running by outside didn't get a full show.
Also, the water never really got hot. So it was a short shower in cool water. I didn't find the shampoo, soap etc until after I had showered. It was under the table between the two beds instead of in the bathroom.
There was a lot of noise outside my room while I was trying to go to sleep.
The room decor and set up are pretty dated, but comfortable enough.

Don't expect exceptional
Posted 5 Jan 2023 on HotelsThe reviews and some photos of this property are misleading. I believe I read a rating of "exceptional", which is hardly the case. I I understand its remote location and availability of competition are a factor in consideration but this hotel is not exceptional. Found ants, lizard and cockroach in the room on our 1 night stay. The doors open straight to the parking area on the ground floor. There were street noise and general conversations right outside the room. By no means can you see a view of any beach from this hotel and is a walking distance away. I am not disparaging the room other than to give an honest review as the ones listed here are not honest and appear, I suspect, to have been written by the owner or employees.

It is the best hotel in an area of limited options. Friendly staff, all day snacks are plusses. Pleasant public beaches a couple of minutes walk away

Unpleasant odor in room
Posted 12 Oct 2021 on HotelsThe room looked very clean. However I had a very unpleasant odor, much like a sewer gas smell. Strangely the odor wasn't present in the lavatory. That smell ruined an otherwise great stay.

Great stay for the value. Clean rooms.
Posted 4 Feb 2021 on HotelsThe service was great from check in to check out. The rooms are clean and decent size. The bathrooms are nice. The bathroom sink is in the shower and has an outlet next to the sink which is a bit weird but I didn't need it. Outlets available in room. Smart TV. Electric water boiler. Closet available. Continental breakfast includes cereal and milk, oatmeal, coffee and others.

Loved the entire experience. The hotel staff was first rate. Breakfast and coffee in the AM, and very comfortable, quiet room, was impressive considering the still recovering from the last typhoon condition of Tinian.
