"Nice place to stay. I was lucky that there weren’t many guests during my visit, so I often had the pool to myself, which was really relaxing. I think I may have been there during the off-season, which likely contributed to how quiet and peaceful the property felt. The staff were very nice and attentive throughout my stay. The property is a bit secluded and away from everything, and drivers sometimes had difficulty finding the location. However, there is a supermarket and a nice local warung...

"We booked The Balé for the absolute privacy of the villas and their grounds and we couldn’t have been happier with how our stay turned out - total privacy assured and we weren’t overlooked in the least. Loved that breakfast can be served in your own villa and we took ample advantage of this. Staff are great about delivering endless buckets of ice and any other requirements. They’re also great about dealing with any issues as they arise. The courtesy shuttle was also a useful plus - they’re genuinely happy to take you to local destinations at the drop of a hat and to pick you up afterwards."

"We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa with our own pool. We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were super helpful and nothing was a problem when we asked for things. The rooms were clean and tidy and we had breakfast brought to our villa in the mornings. There was a shuttle bus to take you to the beach each day at 11am and they came back to pick you up at 3 or 6pm. I had a great spa treatment and the place was very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely come back and stay there. Just don’t leave food outside. The monkeys have a great sense of smell!!!"

It is slightly far away from most tourist attractions so we did end up spending a lot of time stuck in traffic travelling around Bali. If you want somewhere to relax, then this hotel is great. The food was good too with a huge amount to choose from at breakfast."

"Overall stay was great. We stayed for 10 nights as a family of 4. Room was great, a little outdated and the bed in the main room was really hard to sleep on. Buffet breakfast is great...so many choices every morning and worth the money. They need to spend more on uplifting the kids club and extending their hours to allow parents some alone time. Also the amenities in the kids clubs are very limited when comparing to other countries we have stayed. Lastly the food at the restaurants isnt so great, would recommend eating elsewhere. All in all its a nice resort."
