Lovely accommodation within driving distance of ferries to Orkney restaurants and towns. Outstanding hosts who think of everything and provide a wonderful breakfast.

The BnB was perfect, our host and hostess very welcoming and helpful. They found and reserved a place for dinner for us that night. Parking was easy. Everything worked and breakfast was great!! Thank you

Such a nice place to stay! We needed a place close to John O'Groats and this place was perfect. The hosts were so hospitable, my husband and I loved talking with them. The room was clean and comfy, and we had no issues with the room. The hosts even were willing to do a load of laundry for us which saved us hours from having to find a laundromat! We were so, so pleased with this place. Can't recommend it enough.

Very welcoming and accommodating hosts! Pleasant conversation and great suggestions for our trip! Extremely willing to make us as comfortable as possible. Room was well laid out with everything you need. House is very close to the Castle of Mey, Gill’s Bay Ferry and John O’Groats for some cheesy souvenirs. The Castle Arms was a great option for dinner, walking distance from the house. Our hosts even booked us a reservation prior to our arrival. One less thing for us to worry about! Comfortable place to lay your head and excellent hospitable hosts!

Posted 22 Sep 2022 on HotelsJust a stop over whilst travelling NC500, very friendly hosts and very humerous, welcomed us on arrival and booked a restaurant for us up the road, room very cosy and breakfast was lovely, will definitely stay here again when in the area and recommend to any other traveller to stop over whilst passing by

Very welcoming hosts, eager to please. Excellent breakfast. Accommodation as described. A few amusing little notes around the place too. Definitely looking to be eco conscious.
