Our room was just as advertised, our hosts were very gracious and welcoming.We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Managers Greg and Julie are the perfect hosts, made us feel welcome and completely at ease with teenage boys obsessed with mountain biking.

Difficult access to village and car park
No safety latch/lock on inside of door

the access is very central we go the extra yard to explain that if stairs are an issue not to book and all rooms can be locked

Fabulous place to stay for some time in the mountains. What made is so special is the wonderful staff: nothing was too much trouble for them, from random food requests, keeping a meal for me out of hours and cooking eggs after I finished my trail run. Best hosts ever!

The staff were so friendly, helpful and ji d. The breakfast was amazing. Will absolutely stay again. Been looking for the perfect place and after eight years we have found it.

Great little hotel behind Thredbo village. Awesome breakfasts and service. Very cozy lounge area.
Lots of steps to get down/ up to it but that’s part of the fun.

Fabulous stay at Winterhaus. The breakfast daily was so good. Lovely staff - very friendly and helpful with what is on and events to look out for. Very friendly nature.
