Hotel was clean and the staff was okay. Food is really bad and had a very bad experience during checkout.my package was including breakfast and they tried charging for break fast and I have to wait there in the reception for 30 min to sort out the issue

Dear Sir, Sorry for your experience; but as mentioned to you directly at check out, the voucher we received was not including breakfast. As it was on room only basis we updated the restaurant staff too about the same. We tried escalating the issue to Hotels.com and eventually able to get in touch with them and in the mean time we had waived off the charges for you.

I had a great stay with my family at this beautiful resort. The location was easy to find and most of the rooms have a beautiful lake view. The property is well maintained and the staff is very helpful and kind. The service is pretty quick and they have an amazing pool that you can use and an activity room for playing carroms, table tennis and pool. They have a mini library that visitors can use and other memorabilia items that are for sale. The restaurant serves delicious multi cuisine food and the hotel premises are well sanitized and they have necessary precautions for the pandemic. Would love to visit this place again with family as the location and staff all were amazing.

There was nothing special about this property. Description of room that we booked was a lie. We were told city view room but the city was 20 kms away from the hotel so was very disappointing.

Lovely, friendly comfortable hotel

Really lovely hotel close to local amenities. Food at hotel was delicious, breakfast was brilliant. Staff very friendly and happy to help. Plenty of rickshaws just outside hotel. WiFi wasn’t working during our stay. Would definitely stay again though.

Mixed feelings about this place

I have mixed feelings about Lake Palace. It's supposedly a 5 star hotel, but there were several things lacking. The positives and negatives of my stay follow: Positives: - The service of the wait staff was very high. They even went out of their way to make us a specially prepared roast chicken for Christmas dinner, which wasn't on the menu, at no extra charge! - The food was delicious - The rooms were clean Negatives: - The restaurant seemed to have a policy of cooking everything on your order all at once before bringing any of it out. This led to cold starters much of the time, as they'd not bring them out until they'd finished cooking the mains - There are fairly frequent power cuts - The WiFi was patchy and frequently uncooperative - The end of the garden, near the lake, STINKS! Smells like an open sewer. There's visible garbage in the garbage store and the view from our room - the hotel's only suite and the best room in the place - was of a baron wasteland with drains. At one point a member of staff even urinated directly under our balcony in full view! - The AC in the room didn't always work - Driver we booked didn't speak English, despite us being told he would - Remote location might not be appreciated, depending what you're looking for - They tried to charge us for a pomegranate stain, which is unexpected in a 5 star hotel!
