"Our stay was overshadowed largely by it being an active construction zone by day and the stillhouse being closed for the season, none of the fire pits worked, the room was nice but the experience wasn’t. It’s a convenient location and relatively easy to navigate to downtown and even walk weather permitting. "

"Very clean facility with excellent staff inclduing cleaning staff. It is so close to Cherokee Orchard road and Roaring Fork Road. This close proximity allowed us to do several popular waterfall hikes within 10-15 mins of driving. Also, the location is very close to Newfound Gap road. Every pooular trails were wihin 35 mins for driving. It is only .8 miles from where the restaurants are. If your stay is for doing hikes at GSM NP, then I highly recommend this Hampton location. I would avoid...
