A very hip place that does not take itself too seriously. Beautiful views of The Loop. Excellent internet. Comfortable beds and very quiet.

Great central location - easy metro ride from the airport. Staff are friendly. Personally I didn't like the two duvets on one bed. And the beds were double rather than king. But a great stay and we did get upgraded to a normal room - but the first night were were put in a tiny room with the bathroom barely closet space. Loved the look and feel of the common spaces in the hotel.

It was a fun whimsical place in a stunning historic building. I felt quite at home and loved having seltzer water in the water dispenser! The only downside was the restaurant, Atwood. We had breakfast at 10 AM on a Saturday, the waiter took our order and then disappeared for 30 minutes on an unannounced break with no coverage. We had to get up and ask the manager for things like butter for the toast and the check. Maybe better break communication?

The property is kitschy and has a unique, classic hotel vibe. They give you a real key with a lovely keychain, the elevators, floors, fixtures all look original. That is good and bad as the carpet also looks original. The blankets or comforters were rather confusing. The bathroom is so small. The counterspace is insufficient for a woman that has toiletries. The toiletries might as well have been left out of the bathroom. They provide a water bottle and there's a refill station in the lobby. The bar is great. Bartender Wilmer was awesome and so friendly.

THE STAFF AT THE FRONT DESK WAS EXCELLENT, ESPECIALLY CASSANDRA.
THE LOCATION WAS VERY CONVENIENT FOR SHOPPING, BAKERIES, COFFEE SHOPS AND TRANSPORTAITON TO THE AIRPORT. CLOSE TO MILLENIUM PARK AND ALL OF THE OTHER ATTRACTIONS WE WANTED TO SEE
