"Room clean. Plenty of towels, toiletries, etc. Staff was very pleasant. Loved the availability of food and coffee from the bar.
Would've preferred a room with a view, but not sure if I might've needed to pay extra for that. I would like to have had a microwave and refrigerator. I guess we could've requested the latter, but we didn't bother. I understand these things tend to be more prevalent in budget hotels, and not so much in higher-end properties.
We are only from Brooklyn, so this was kind of a staycation, but we would do it again. Perhaps next time after one of the many concerts we attend at the Beacon Theatre."
"Hotel Belleclaire exceeded my expectations in every way. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and enjoyable. Communication from the valet was excellent—my car was picked up and delivered right on time, with total ease and great flow. The front desk staff was welcoming, warm, and genuinely friendly, which made check-in a pleasure.
I absolutely loved the room. It was beautifully decorated, very clean and truly felt like New York luxury—stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The bar was cozy and inviting, and the mocktails were surprisingly excellent.
Overall, this was a 10/10 stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Belleclaire to anyone visiting NYC and wanting to stay on the Upper West side. "
"The room was clean, the hot water and bathtub were amazing! Staff were super nice and helpful and location was great! Two blocks from Central Park, 2 minutes from subway and away from the craziness from Times Square but 5 minutes away from subway. Perfect location! We definitely will be staying again! "
"This was a older hotel but it was clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly! There was a subway right outside the door so transportation was so easy, just blocks from central park, several food places right outside the door as well as coffee shops. If you don't plan on staying in your room and want a place that doesn't break the bank that is comfortable and safe this is the place! Rooms are small there were 3 of us but I knew that going in so again it's a good place!"
