The staff was very friendly and helpful. The suggestions they gave us really made the stay that much more enjoyable. If for no other reason, I would stay here knowing they really care about their guests. Additionally, the hotel is in a great location, and it's very charming and very very clean.

Not bad but not 4 star.
Posted 7 Aug 2018 on HotelsLocation was good but hotel itself was old but historic charm. No air conditioning in the middle of hot summer was a major issue. Super hot. No fans. Not comfortable and horrible to sleep or hang out in there. No proper concierge to give ideas or tips for the area waited forever for check out. The hotel was on a very busy loud road across from the water. With windows open you could hear cars all night.

Pros: Friendly bar staff for our late night wedding party celebration.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Central location good for transport links, shops and boat trips. Great walking area.
Very enjoyable 2 night stay with welcoming and efficient staff. Very clean and well appointed throughout. An excellent buffet style breakfast with plenty of choice.
