great and convient guest house. Close to the center and the lake. room and shower are clean. the common area is cozy and quiet with great heater and sofa. there is also place to sit out side if its a nice day

Kitchen is not as clean as when this property was a YHA. It has lost some of its friendly vibe since then.
When the other places cost twice as much, stay here.

Kitchen is cleaned regularly but can sometimes feel a bit messy after a large group has gone through. Thanks for choosing to stay with us!

Great check-in with very enthusiastic staff. Our room was fine, a little dated as you might expect in this type of property but clean and comfortable. There was a problem with drains on the first day, but this was quickly resolved - presumably a result of the property only recently reopening. The communal facilities were good with a great kitchen to use. The property is close to the centre of Te Anau where there are a number of good dining options if you want to eat out, and also a good supermarket.
