I would definitely not recommend the property. The service in the pool area was very limited, I struggled a lot getting specifically the dishes I ordered as well as the drinks. The quality of the food is not good and the hotel seems to be under staffed. The place has a great potential to have something a lot better, I would not come back to the hotel, at least not in the near future.

The view is amazing and the hotel grounds are beautiful and spacious. My only request is they upgrade the coffee condiments in the rooms The was only one pack of creamer. Both my wife and I like cream in our coffee. There should be enough for two at least.

Outdated with spectacular views.
Posted 13 Feb 2024 on HotelsThe hotel's location provieds great views of Taxco, but is not worth car/taxi/shuttle rides up if you are stay there more than 1 or 2 days.
The staff is fantastic 5 stars..
The other con, is this hotel is outdated, it needs a major renovation.

Montetaxco Hotel is a great place to satey.
Excellent service and the staff is very kind and always willing to serve.
It's easy to go to downtown by taxi and the great benefit to stay in Montetaxco is a very quiet area
