Mohua Park was an excellent base for discovering the Catlins in full. The natural setting was very appropriate together with the excellent landscape views from the cottage,

Great host who was very helpful. Cottage was very clean and had all amenities. No tv was a disappointment to one of us but did mean I got my book read! 😃 a wonderful quiet environment with beautiful native Bush walks. The native birds were a real treat. The scenery was over beautifully manicured farmland.

The view is amazing! We had a fabulous time. The cabin is warm. We loved the extra snuggle blankets and wrapped up in them to watch shooting stars on the deck at night. Everything was clean. The kitchen is user friendly. It was great to have the coffee maker as there is nowhere close for a real coffee. We had fun playing board games, that was a lovely touch. The hosts are super friendly. We absolutely loved our stay, thank you so much!

Beautiful location. One tip-- don't necessarily follow GPS which can take you over a lot of back roads to get there.

True about GPS, follow the Owaka-Papatowai highway south for 9 km, then turn off at our Mohua Park 7km sign.
Most direct and easiest way to find us.
