right on the lake edge. very comfortable nice room layout good shower had everything we needed

Felt the accommodation was overpriced and needed updating. The heat pump was inadequate for Taupo Winters.

We stayed one night and it was just for somewhere to sleep.
Good price for what it is. The shower was amazing, beds were lovely to sleep in. Right on the water front.
Quite cold rooms, with the high ceilings and no double glazing, but they have heat pumbs and only takes a couple of minutes to heat the room to a good temp.
Little outdated with standard wear and tear but it is clean.
Overall I would still stay again!
Oh and super lovely staff!!

Our stay was okay - loved the view from our room. We struggled to unlock the door - the key went in easily but would not turn. We talked to a friendly staff member who said to just pull the door in as you try and turn - still took a while to get it to work. Was esp hard at 10 at night in the cold!
There was also no drop box for the key when we left at 8.25am.
