The toilet smelled of uri e in our room. The bathrooms are old and I think the urine smell could be in the tiles.

Hello Anonymous (Initials IM?) As we believe you stayed for 2 nights, we cannot understand why you did not mention there was an issue with your bathroom? What you describe sounds unhealthy and we would have responded both immediately and positively. It was certainly not coming from the floor tiles as we use a cleaning system certified for use in Health facilities. Clearly, something was wrong for your stay and we can only apologise for however we may have contributed to that. However, if you do not mention problems to the Owners or Duty Managers then no-one is to help you. Worse, where there is a problem that needs our attention we are also unable to help the next guest going into that unit. We hope the above helps with you8r future accommodation bookings. Spacious rooms, warm, good sized bathroom, great staff. Walking distance to the town.

Clean, comfortable, well organized & clear, helpful property info & expectations. Loved having an efficient room heater & a/c. Called to alert I would arrive just 5 min. past the 8p check-in & Ron was very pleasant & accommodating. Will definitely check out other Asure properties.

Parking was good it was clean and tidy, rooms clean and it was very handy to town center,Everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and help full and the owner took an interest in you as a person and always checked to see if everything was ok.. thanks for a lovely stay I would recomend anyone to stay there

little more fridge space would be amazing. Otherwise very good set up and amenities in room. spacious with two double beds and large bathroom. provided secure room to keep bikes which was very helpful. given the number of cyclists/triathletes to the area it's probably worth asking on check-in if people have bikes, as like others we didn't read the full guide in the room.

Hi anonymous Good to know our 1 Bed Spa with two Queens was comfortable for the two of you. Yes, our kitchenettes are on the small side as the property was built with its own on-site Restaurant :-), and they are not intended to cater for main meals. We only advertise accommodation for people, and believe it to be only fair and reasonable that those intending to bring bikes, trailers, animals - or anything other than people - would ask if that was OK before making a booking. The lodge was ok to stay for 2 nights. No complains. They dont have aircon in the bedroom and leaving windows open during nights is an invite to flying insects. Overall ok to stay.

Hello Writing anonymously means we do not know who you are or when you stayed, and that means we can do nothing to help you. An additional a/c unit in the bedroom would require room pricing that the Taupo market would not support currently - as we also have in-floor winter heating. Yes, if you sleep with a light on with open windows there will always be insects looking to find their way in - even our net curtains cannot stop them all. With the lights off, the windows open, and using the fan supplied in the bedroom is by far the best way to be comfortable on a summers night. We are very sorry PRINCE did not work as well as we were wanting for you. Perhaps return in winter and see if our in-floor heating makes up for your hot summer visit :-).
