I will keep this review brief: Our AC leaked water which I slipped but luckily didn’t hurt myself. The hotel denied prior knowledge of this but there was water in the trash can which was placed under the AC unit and dehumidifier running on high when we came into the room. They upgraded our room the next day which was in much better condition and comp few kid activities so we let it go. However, we never did get to talked to the manager in person. I have do say that the upgraded room was what I expected from the beginning and looked similar to the online pictures. Our first room was outdated but not dirty. The walls, floors and couches just looks old. It was also first floor which was noisy, poor plumbing, and full of mosquitoes. Hotel check in is next to the parking lot which is across the street from the logging. They shuttle you to your room during check in and check out only. The streets are very steep so not ideal for handicap people. The steps to our building was very poorly kept and my children almost tripped. Even though we elected payment with local currency upon arrival, the hotel still did a pre-authorization charge of entire amount on my credit card. Most hotels will only charge 1 night or less but they did the entire amount which prompted me to call and had to be transferred couple of times to get someone to reassure me. By the way I contacted Expedia via chat first but the rep was not helpful at all. Basically told me to deal with hotel myself!!

Overall nice resort, had a happy stay

I stayed at this resort during the Lunar New Year in 2021. Overall it is a nice resort. The parking is off-site, but it is quite close by. Porter service is provided to the particular building we stayed. The amenities are great. The swimming pool is good and I had a great time playing table tennis with my son. That said, the facilities are a bit aged, and maintenance could be proved. I had a hard time hooking up to the wifi in my room, a problem never solved during my stay. Overall it is a nice place. Functionally there is everything we hoped for. The only problem is that it does not feel classy, due to maintenance problem.

Not pet friendly!

We booked this hotel specifically because it was pet friendly. The first day, we brought our dog to breakfast with no issue. The second day, they changed the location of breakfast without informing us. Worst of all, they refused to let our dog in! Would not stay there again. Not only that, breakfast was mediocre at best, rooms are in dsperate need of renovation, and multiple guests were taking pictures in the sauna, with no staff in sight. Would not stay here again!
