Booked it for its location which is very near to the train station. It is a old hotel which i already knew and accepted. May still book it for the location

Great staff - everyone very helpful, to getting us taxis, answering questions, etc. They helped us find a taxi to take us to see the black-faced spoonbills at a nature reserve on the coast. Plus, they spoke great English!
The rooms were nice, too, though the furnishings were a little dated. The bathrooms were completely renovated, with great tubs and showers (we had two rooms).

Tap in the bathroom is quite noisy when you wash your hands. Can be the pipe is quite old. We can hear the people talking across the passage.

Hotel Tainan is mere minutes away from the Tainan station, so it is near major Tainan attractions.
I topped up S$10 per day to get breakfast, and the spread is money well spent.

Only stayed 1 night. The front desk service was very nice and went beyond to help finding the item we left in the hotel room and shipped to us. Thank you so much👍
