The location is perfect to catch the train to Zermat. The room was cozy and comfortable. You are facing the train station so it is noisy. They have parking for a cost under the hotel. We missed a fridge.

Cozy and personable

The staff was exceptionally friendly upon arrival and for the two days we were there. They were very helpful with answering questions and letting us borrow a screw driver in a pinch. The bedroom was advertised as 2 twins, but the arrangement was 2 twin beds in a single frame. It was unexpected but not a big concern. My travel companion commented that he would stay at this location when he comes back for another boarding trip to Zermatt.

Great value, very comfortable excellent food (breakfast and dinner). Jacuzzi and sauna were welcome treats to round off active days in the mountains.

Price was decent for the actual results. The hotel was definitely older and any renovations were lacking. Right beside the railway so trains start around 6am till 11pm. By the time you get one day train pass for about $300 for two people, the gondola rides another $280, the hotel lower pricing and lower quality seemed to offset the expensive day. Definitely not a luxury stay but a true cabin experience. Staff was very nice.

Hotel is located near train station. The room is clean. Staff is very nice.
