This hotel is located near QVB, Town Hall train station and light rail to Circular Quay. Lots of cafe, food stall in malls, and shopping places all around.

Convenient location. Rooms face the street can hear all the noises 24 hours. Terrible noises.

We had been in Australia for a few weeks and only needed a place to crash that was downtown and cheap for two nights before our flight home. This was perfect. No frills. Small room. Reception was only open when we showed up. Convenient bar downstairs takes care of anything afterwards. Their fish and chips is good. Walking distance (for us- late 40s active) to 2 harbor areas. Did I mention the bar downstairs? Bottle shop (liquor store) attached and a large size, for a downtown, grocery store same block.
We’d have no problem going back.

the reception and bar staff are extremely welcoming, the bistro food is excellent, the location is ideal for public transport and walking to nearby shops and parks, and the property itself is very affordable and convenient. although outdated with structural wear and tear, I had one of two rooms with a balcony which had beautiful views and could people watch all day.
would definitely stay again!
